Linate is situated 10km east of the centre of Milan.
With the 'opening' of Malpensa 2000 the volume of traffic as this city airport dropped dramatically, but as the airlines are now realising that business passengers wish to have a 5 minute taxi journey to the centre of the city rather than a 45 minute train journey, the airport has sprung back into life.
Today the airport is frequented by a number of different aircraft and airlines, ranging from Alitalia A321's to Executive aircraft.
